SCOPE
Partial Stripout
We recently completed the heritage-listed Customs House in Sydney, which requires careful management due to its operational environment and historical significance. Our staged approach is designed to ensure minimal disruption to daily activities while preserving the integrity of the building's heritage features. Our team are also confined to completing all works between the hours of 5am and 8am at each stage to eliminate disturbance to the live tenancy.
The scope of works includes the demolition of walls and the removal and disposal of exhibition fixtures, acoustic panels, and various furniture items, such as leather armchairs, lounge chairs, carpets, and rugs. In line with our sustainability efforts, we are pleased to report that most of the removed furniture has been donated to two local charities for reuse. Additionally, our work encompasses the removal of joinery, including the existing counter, internet bench, and library return housing, along with the relocation of specific furniture to a designated storage room. Through detailed planning and coordination, we are ensuring the seamless progress of this complex job while maintaining the building's daily operations.
