CLIENT
Project One
Embarking on a crucial role in the upgrade of office amenities at Centrelink in Redfern, BXD undertook the demolition component of this project. Operating within the confines of an active and live office space posed unique challenges, necessitating a delicate balance between efficiency and sensitivity. In response to this dynamic environment, BXD strategically orchestrated its team to work with maximum efficiency, ensuring minimal disruption to the ongoing operations while navigating the intricacies of the live workspace.
To tackle thecomplexities of the project, the scope of work was divided into stages, demonstrating BXD's methodical approach to the multifaceted renovation. The initial phase involved the strip-out of floor and wall tiles, along with the removal of all fixtures, furniture, and equipment (FFE) within the main office areas situated on both the ground floor and level 1. This comprehensive strip-out laid the foundation for the subsequent phases of the upgrade, ensuring a clean canvas for the integration of modern amenities.
Moving beyond the interior spaces, BXD extended its expertise to the balconies. The scope of work for this stage encompassed the removal of external floor tiles and the dismantling of the BBQ area, contributing to the holistic transformation of Centrelink's office amenities. BXD's commitment to efficiency and precision within a live workspace reflects their ability to adapt to the nuanced demands of a sensitive environment. By methodically progressing through the stages of the project, BXD not only ensured the seamless continuation of Centrelink's daily operations but also laid the groundwork for a revamped and contemporary office space. This collaborative effort between BXD and Centrelink in Redfern exemplifies the successful intersection of expertise and adaptability in the realm of office upgrades, setting a standard for future projects in dynamic and operational settings.
