SCOPE

Partial Stripout including external and asbestos removal

The Watershed facility is an important site, originally established to provide critical support and services for individuals dealing with mental health and substance use challenges. The building’s design incorporates elements that promote community engagement and support, reflecting the institute's mission to foster recovery and well-being.

Our team successfully completed a comprehensive renovation project at the Watershed facility in Berkley, focusing on extensive structural improvements. The scope of works included the removal of plasterboard and masonry walls, as well as the demolition of bathrooms and ceilings. We also removed external concrete and timber ramps, an external concrete slab, and a concrete pathway, ensuring a clear site for future developments.

The project involved the removal of windows and exit stairs, alongside the careful handling and removal of asbestos, which was conducted in compliance with all safety regulations. Additionally, we removed all floor finishes, preparing the facility for its next phase of refurbishment.

Our dedicated team ensured that the works were executed efficiently and safely, delivering exceptional results while prioritising the safety of both personnel and the surrounding environment. As we progress, the renovations aim to enhance the facility's functionality and comfort, ultimately providing a better environment for those who utilise its services.
